Introduction

These terms describe how Zappmit LLP ("Zappmit", "we", "us") makes the Zappmit platform available to customers, merchants, service providers and riders. They apply alongside the role-specific terms linked above, which govern the parts of the platform relevant to that role.

Who we are

The Zappmit platform is operated by Zappmit LLP, a Limited Liability Partnership registered in India (LLPIN ADB-3551). Zappmit LLP is registered with limited liability. Its registered office is at Bahina, Samannaya Palli, Mallarpur, Birbhum, West Bengal - 731216, India. Its GST registration number is 19AAEFZ5742Q1Z8. More registered details are on the Company page.

Acceptance of terms

By creating an account, placing an order, accepting a booking, or otherwise using the Zappmit platform, you agree to these terms and to any role-specific terms that apply to you. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. We will not treat a pre-ticked box or silence as your acceptance.

Electronic contract and records

These terms are an electronic record and a contract made by electronic means. Under section 10A of the Information Technology Act, 2000 such a contract is not unenforceable only because it was made electronically. You accept the terms by a clear action, such as ticking a box that is not pre-ticked or tapping an accept button. We keep a record of the version you accepted and when.

Definitions

In these terms: "Platform" means the Zappmit website, applications, and related services.

"User" or "Customer" means a person using the platform to browse, order, or book goods or services. "Merchant" or "service provider" means a business or individual offering goods or services through the platform. "Rider" means an individual providing pickup, delivery or related services through the platform. "Order" means a purchase, booking, or service request placed through the platform. The terms "e-commerce entity" and "marketplace e-commerce entity" have the meaning given in the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.

Zappmit platform role

Zappmit LLP (“Zappmit”, “we”, “us”) operates the Zappmit platform as a technology marketplace. Independent merchants, restaurants and service providers list and sell their own goods and services on it, and independent riders carry out pickups and deliveries. For those transactions the seller is the supplier, and Zappmit does not own the seller’s goods or perform the seller’s service. Zappmit is itself the service provider for the services it supplies in its own name, such as its platform services and, where it is shown as the provider at booking, Parcel delivery. Nothing in these terms removes any duty or liability that the law places on Zappmit as an e-commerce entity, and nothing here claims a statutory exemption from liability that Zappmit may not be entitled to.

Services and availability

The Zappmit service taxonomy has ten services. Five are planned for launch: Food, Grocery, Parcel, Printing and Home Services. Five are coming soon and are not available: Medicine, Stationery, Marketplace, Cab Booking and Doctor Appointments. A service is only available to you once it is shown as available for your location in the Zappmit app. At the date of this draft, online ordering, payment and delivery are disabled and this website is provided for business activity verification.

User accounts

Certain features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly about any unauthorised use.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract to create an account or place an order. A person under 18 may use the platform only through, and with the consent of, a parent or legal guardian who is responsible for that use.

Specific eligibility requirements for merchants and riders are in the role-specific terms.

Information accuracy

You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information when creating an account, placing an order or otherwise using the platform, and to keep it up to date.

Orders and bookings

An order or booking placed through the platform is an offer to buy or book the goods or service. The merchant, service provider or Zappmit, as the case may be, may accept or decline it. The contract for the goods or service is formed when the order is accepted, and it is with the seller or provider named on your order, as the User Terms explain.

Pricing

Prices of goods and services are set by the merchant or service provider, or by Zappmit for what Zappmit itself supplies. The price shown before you confirm an order is a single total with a breakup of each charge, including delivery, packaging, platform or convenience fees and taxes. We do not manipulate prices to impose an unjustified price on you, and we do not treat consumers of the same class differently without a lawful reason.

Taxes and charges

Taxes are charged as the law requires, and this page is not tax advice. Three cases are kept distinct. First, a seller’s own supply of goods or services is taxed under the seller’s registration and is invoiced by the seller. Second, where the law makes Zappmit liable to pay tax on a supply made through the platform as an electronic commerce operator, Zappmit accounts for that tax and the document you receive says so. Section 9(5) of the CGST Act, 2017 does this for restaurant services ordered through the platform and, since 22 September 2025, for local delivery services supplied through it by persons who are not required to register for GST. On goods that merchants sell through the platform, Zappmit collects tax at source under section 52 where that section applies. Third, Zappmit’s own charges, such as delivery, platform or convenience fees, are taxed under Zappmit’s GST registration and shown in Zappmit’s invoice. Tax rates are not stated here because they change; the rate applied to each charge is shown on your invoice. Where a refund applies, tax is adjusted through a credit note or corrected invoice.

Payments

Payments are processed through the methods offered at checkout. Full payment terms are in the Payment Policy.

Delivery

Delivery and fulfilment depend on the service ordered and are described in the Shipping & Delivery Policy.

Cancellations

Cancellation rights and any conditions are described in the Cancellation Policy.

Refunds

Refund eligibility and processing are described in the Refund Policy.

Merchant / service-provider responsibilities

Merchants and service providers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, the quality, safety and lawful supply of their goods or services, and compliance with the law that applies to their business, as further set out in the Merchant Terms.

Rider / delivery responsibilities

Riders are responsible for safe, lawful conduct while providing pickup, delivery or related services, as set out in the Rider Terms.

Licences and registrations

Zappmit LLP holds Central FSSAI licence number 12826999000895, issued on 13 October 2026. The licence records Zappmit LLP’s kind of business as Trade/Retail, e-Commerce, closed network model. It is Zappmit LLP’s own licence for its own e-commerce activity. It is not a licence for any independent restaurant, kitchen, store or other merchant listed on the platform, and it does not cover their premises or food-business activities. Each food business that sells through Zappmit must hold, and is responsible for displaying, its own FSSAI licence or registration, which is separate from Zappmit’s. Zappmit’s duties as a platform are described in the Merchant Terms.

Zappmit does not state that every merchant on the platform holds a particular licence. Where a merchant's licence or registration number is required by law to be shown, it is shown on that merchant's listing or invoice once Zappmit has received it. Zappmit's other registrations are on the Company page.

Prohibited use

You agree not to misuse the platform. That includes giving false information, interfering with its operation, attempting unauthorised access, uploading content that infringes another person's rights or is unlawful, or using the platform for fraudulent or abusive purposes.

Intellectual property

The Zappmit name, brand and platform content (excluding content belonging to merchants, service providers or third parties) belong to Zappmit LLP or its licensors. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of that intellectual property to you.

Platform availability

We aim to keep the platform available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Access may be suspended for maintenance, technical issues or circumstances outside our control.

Third-party services

The platform relies on or links to third-party services, such as payment providers, mapping, messaging and hosting providers. Zappmit is not responsible for the acts of an independent third party except where the law makes Zappmit responsible.

Your consumer rights

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or waives any right or remedy you have as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 or any other law that cannot be waived by agreement. Where a term here conflicts with such a right, the right prevails.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Zappmit is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by events outside its reasonable control. We are also not liable for the goods or services a merchant or provider supplies in their own name, except where the law makes Zappmit liable. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, including liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for a deficiency in a service that Zappmit itself provides.

Indemnity

A merchant, service provider or rider agrees to compensate Zappmit for loss caused by that person's breach of these terms or of the law, as set out in their role-specific terms and agreement. Customers are not asked to give a general indemnity beyond liability for their own unlawful acts.

Suspension / termination

We may suspend or end your access for breach of these terms, suspected fraud, legal requirements or other reasonable operational grounds. We give notice where practicable and a chance to respond where the circumstances allow.

Dispute resolution

Please raise a concern first through the Grievance Redressal process. That does not stop you from going to a Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, a court or another authority at any time.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Nothing in these terms limits your right as a consumer to approach a Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, including at the place where you reside or work, or any other remedy the law gives you. For a dispute between Zappmit and a merchant, service provider or rider, the courts at the place of Zappmit’s registered office in West Bengal have jurisdiction, unless your written agreement with Zappmit says otherwise.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. A change is shown by a new version number and review date at the top of this page. We will give notice of a material change before it applies to you, and where the law requires it we will ask for your fresh acceptance. Past versions are kept so that we can show which version applied to your order.
