Important

This page is a draft that has been through Zappmit’s internal compliance review. It is not yet in effect. It has not been approved by any government body or regulator, and it has not yet been signed off by external legal counsel. Online ordering, payment and delivery are currently disabled on this website.

Scope

These User Terms apply to you when you use the Zappmit platform as a customer to browse, order, or book goods or services. Read them together with the general Terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract to create an account or place an order. A person under 18 may use the platform only through, and with the consent of, a parent or legal guardian who is responsible for that use.

Account creation

You may need an account to use some features. You give details such as your name, mobile number or email, and delivery address. You confirm that the details are accurate and are yours.

OTP / authentication

Where sign-in or order verification uses a one-time password (OTP), PIN or other method, keep it confidential and do not share it with anyone, including anyone who claims to represent Zappmit, a merchant or a rider. Zappmit will never ask you for your OTP or PIN. A delivery code, where the app shows one, is for the rider to confirm your handover and should be given only to the rider delivering your order.

Truthful information

Do not give false, misleading or impersonating information when creating an account, placing an order or contacting support.

Account security

You are responsible for activity on your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, change your credentials where you can and contact us through the Contact page.

Ordering

Zappmit LLP (“Zappmit”, “we”, “us”) operates the Zappmit platform as a technology marketplace. Independent merchants, restaurants and service providers list and sell their own goods and services on it, and independent riders carry out pickups and deliveries. For those transactions the seller is the supplier, and Zappmit does not own the seller’s goods or perform the seller’s service. Zappmit is itself the service provider for the services it supplies in its own name, such as its platform services and, where it is shown as the provider at booking, Parcel delivery. Nothing in these terms removes any duty or liability that the law places on Zappmit as an e-commerce entity, and nothing here claims a statutory exemption from liability that Zappmit may not be entitled to.

Who supplies what you order

The seller or provider is the party who supplies the goods or service. It is named on your order, on the listing and, where the law requires, on the invoice. For restaurant and other goods you order from a merchant, the merchant is the seller. For Parcel delivery and for Zappmit's own fees, Zappmit is the provider. On request after your purchase, Zappmit will give you the seller's registered business details that the law requires it to give.

Bookings

Where a service such as Home Services or Printing is booked through the platform, the booking is subject to the provider's availability and conditions, in addition to these terms. Cab Booking and Doctor Appointments are coming soon and cannot be booked.

The Zappmit service taxonomy has ten services. Five are planned for launch: Food, Grocery, Parcel, Printing and Home Services. Five are coming soon and are not available: Medicine, Stationery, Marketplace, Cab Booking and Doctor Appointments. A service is only available to you once it is shown as available for your location in the Zappmit app. At the date of this draft, online ordering, payment and delivery are disabled and this website is provided for business activity verification.

Product / service information

Listings, including descriptions, images and availability, are provided by the merchant or provider responsible for them, or by Zappmit where Zappmit is the provider. Images may be illustrative. Where a listing shows a pack, the declarations on the pack prevail.

Food and packaged goods

The food business that prepares or packs the food is responsible for its safety, hygiene, labelling, allergen information and vegetarian or non-vegetarian declaration. Zappmit, as the platform, is responsible for showing the information that the business supplies, for acting on complaints and for removing a listing that is non-compliant when it becomes aware of the problem. Report a food-safety concern to the contact in the Grievance Redressal page and, where you wish, to the State Food Safety authority.

For packaged goods, the manufacturer, packer or importer is responsible for the declarations on the pack, which include name and address, net quantity, maximum retail price, best-before or use-by date and country of origin where applicable. Under the Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules, 2011, Zappmit as an e-commerce entity must display the mandatory declarations on the platform, and the seller must supply them correctly.

If you have an allergy, check the allergen information shown for the item and, where in doubt, ask the restaurant before ordering. Zappmit cannot test food for allergens.

Pricing and charges

The price, delivery charge and taxes are shown before you confirm an order, as a single total with a breakup. You agree to pay the total shown when you confirm the order.

A customer may be charged for the goods or service, delivery, packaging, platform or convenience fees, and applicable taxes. Where Zappmit applies a surge or similar charge, or a cancellation charge, it is shown before the customer confirms the order. The total price is shown as a single figure together with a breakup of each compulsory and voluntary charge, as rules 5 and 6 of the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 require.

Taxes are charged as the law requires, and this page is not tax advice. Three cases are kept distinct. First, a seller’s own supply of goods or services is taxed under the seller’s registration and is invoiced by the seller. Second, where the law makes Zappmit liable to pay tax on a supply made through the platform as an electronic commerce operator, Zappmit accounts for that tax and the document you receive says so. Section 9(5) of the CGST Act, 2017 does this for restaurant services ordered through the platform and, since 22 September 2025, for local delivery services supplied through it by persons who are not required to register for GST. On goods that merchants sell through the platform, Zappmit collects tax at source under section 52 where that section applies. Third, Zappmit’s own charges, such as delivery, platform or convenience fees, are taxed under Zappmit’s GST registration and shown in Zappmit’s invoice. Tax rates are not stated here because they change; the rate applied to each charge is shown on your invoice. Where a refund applies, tax is adjusted through a credit note or corrected invoice.

Delivery

Delivery timing and conditions are in the Shipping & Delivery Policy. Give an accurate delivery address and be reasonably available to receive your order.

Payment

Payment terms, including accepted methods and how failed or pending payments are handled, are in the Payment Policy.

Cancellation

Your right to cancel an order or booking, and any conditions, are in the Cancellation Policy.

Refunds

Refund eligibility and processing are in the Refund Policy.

Your consumer rights

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or waives any right or remedy you have as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 or any other law that cannot be waived by agreement. Where a term here conflicts with such a right, the right prevails.

Prohibited conduct

Do not misuse the platform, abuse merchants, providers or riders, place fraudulent or bad-faith orders, or try to get around the platform's ordering, payment or safety controls.

Reviews and ratings

Where the platform lets you post a review or rating, it must be honest, based on your own experience, and free of unlawful, defamatory or abusive content. Zappmit may remove a review that breaks these rules.

Misuse and fraud

Zappmit may look into suspected misuse or fraud, such as false claims of non-delivery, payment fraud or coupon abuse. Where evidence supports it, we may cancel an order, decline a refund that is not due, or suspend an account. Where practicable we will tell you why and let you respond. A decision of this kind does not remove a statutory right you have.

Customer support

Contact customer support through the Contact page or at contact@zappmit.com.

Complaints and disputes

Raise a problem with an order first through customer support. If it is not resolved, use the Grievance Redressal process. You may also go to a Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission or another authority at any time.

Account suspension

We may suspend or restrict an account for breach of these terms, suspected fraud, repeated misuse or legal requirements, with notice where practicable.
